13-year-old David Sills just committed to play football at USC. Sills, a seventh grade quarterback from Bear County, Delaware, shockingly, is the first verbal committment of the 2015 class. ESPN’s Shelley Smith reports that new head coach Lane Kiffin just recently offered the the young boy from across the country a scholarship and Sills gave Kiffin his verbal committment. I would make a joke about how Lane is old enough to be this kid’s father but that wouldn’t be true. Anyways, for Sills sake, at least USC’s soon-to-be-imposed sanctions will be over by the time he arrives in Los Angeles, but will Kiffin still be in charge?
